Post 52 Contest Results Are Official.
January 18, 2025 — American Legion Post 52, Franklinton, NC, held their Oratorical contest and the winner was Victoria Sema a senior at Franklin County Early College High School. She will now move on to the District 5 contest, being held at Post 138, Roxboro, NC, on February 8th. If you see her at school or in the neighborhood give her encouragement and come out and support her at the district contest.

District 5 Contest.
February 8, 2025, The District 5 contest had a change of venue and was held at Post 52, Franklinton, NC and Victoria did a great job of representing our Post in the contest. She was the District 5 winner and will be going to the Division I contest in Roanok Rapids, NC.

Tracy. Gabriella is holding her gold medal for winning the District 5 Contest as she receives a $75 check from the Post 52 Commander for winning the Post contest last week.
Division I Contest.
March 2, 2025 — Victoria has been declared the Division I winner and will be going to the State Contest.

Shown above is the Division 1 Commander David Sammons, Jr. and Victoria. Victoria will be heading for Chapel Hill at the end of the month to partisipate in the State Contest against the other four Division finalist.
State of North Carolina Contest.
March 29, 2025 — Victoria has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship as a State Contest runner-up. Great job at all levels of the contest.

On March 29th in Chapel Hill, Victoria Sema, Post 52, District 5, and Division 1, Oratorical contest winner, received a $1,000 scholarship to the school of her choice as a State Runner-up.
